Terms of Service
Effective date: September 2026 · Version 2026-09
1. Permitted Products
Exlicense is exclusively for transferable, unused, and redeemable codes, vouchers, gift cards, license keys, and credit packages. Sellers may not list account credentials, API keys, usernames, passwords, shared access, or any stolen or unauthorized material.
2. No Account Credentials
The sale of account credentials, login credentials, shared accounts, or API keys is strictly prohibited and will result in immediate suspension. This includes but is not limited to: OpenAI accounts, Anthropic accounts, Midjourney accounts, Cursor accounts, and any other platform account.
3. Buyer Responsibilities
Buyers are responsible for verifying codes before the 72-hour dispute window closes. Exlicense is not responsible for codes that expire after purchase if the expiry was disclosed in the listing.
4. Seller Responsibilities
Sellers must only list genuine, unused, transferable codes. Sellers who list fraudulent or invalid codes will be suspended and may be subject to chargebacks.
5. Pass Rentals
Some listings are fixed-term rentals of an access pass rather than an outright sale. For these, you receive a one-time claim code that grants the pass's access for the stated term. The pass returns to its owner automatically when the term ends — there is nothing for you to cancel or return, and access stops at that point.
6. Mock Payments
All payments during this MVP phase are mock/demo transactions. No real funds are charged. This will change when the platform integrates a real payment provider.
7. Dispute Resolution
Buyers may open a dispute within 72 hours of delivery. Admin will review disputes and may resolve in favor of buyer or seller. Admin decisions are final.
8. Platform Fees
Exlicense charges a 10% platform fee on completed transactions. Seller payout is 90% of the listing price.
9. Limitation of Liability
Exlicense is a marketplace platform. We are not responsible for the validity of individual listings, though we review all listings before activation.
